http://www.upcomingmovies.com/shanghainoon2.html is a website with some good information on the sequel--basically a summary of what's been said in the press about it so far. Not really anything new yet, still unclear as to whether this is scheduled to go pre or post-strike this year.

Here's what we know so far--the working title of the sequel is either "Shanghai Knight" or "Shanghai Knights". It will take place at least partly in England, and will reportedly have an "Indiana Jones" feel to it. As of March 9, 2001, reports indicate that Owen Wilson has signed on to be part of the sequel (yay!)

It is unclear as to when shooting might begin. Jackie is currently finishing "Rush Hour 2". I have heard conflicting reports as to whether his next project will be "Highbinders" (a Hong Kong production) or "Shanghai Knight(s)". As soon as RH2 is completed I'm sure we'll hear more definite news either way.
